Peaceful Suffolk Campsite with Great Walking Routes
“The friendliest owners, take up their offer of a venison steak if there are some available! Large pitch, well spaced, away from the road with great walking routes directly from the field. Washing up facilities, compost toilet and (hot!) shower appreciated. Look out for the signs from the road, and trust you’re going the right way.”

Perfect Family Camping and Den Building in the Woods
“We've just had an overnight stay at this back to basics campsite. Plenty of space for the kids to run around, they loved exploring the forest, building dens and spotting the Buzzard landing in its nest. The evening was special sitting round the fire, listing to nature and enjoying a slower pace. Facilities were clean and well looked after, and we really appreciated the quirky little decorative touches that gave the place its own character.”

A Real Gem for Wild Camping in Suffolk
“If you love the feeling of wild camping but still appreciate a few creature comforts, this place is an absolute dream. It’s set in a fantastic location—completely tucked away from busy roads and truly immersed in nature.
The pitches are a fantastic size. You get plenty of room and breathing space between you and the next tent, so it never feels crowded. My children loved the space to fly their kite. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical about the compostable toilets at first, but I was pleasantly surprised! They were incredibly clean and didn't smell at all. Plus, having access to drinking water and actual hot water for both showers and washing up made a world of difference.
Jess and Charlie are fantastic hosts. They took the time to come over and check in on us to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
It truly is the best of both worlds: a wild, off-the-grid camping vibe, but with the luxury of a hot shower and clean facilities. We can't wait to come back!”

“Lions Row is a peaceful, friendly, and really well-priced campsite. We only stayed for one night, but it was so remarkably quiet that the only thing we could hear after dark was an owl in the trees. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to escape to nature and enjoy a tranquil, authentic off-grid camping experience in Suffolk. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!”

Spacious Pitches on a Campsite Allowing Campfires
“Lions Row offers a lovely, peaceful setting with gorgeous country sunsets and close proximity to lots of great Suffolk walking routes. There is excellent space allowed around the pitches so no one ever feels crammed in, which is rare for campsites these days. I also highly appreciate that it is a campsite that allows campfires, making the evenings under the stars feel truly traditional. It's a fantastic, back-to-basics farm site that embraces the natural, rustic layout of a real field. We look forward to visiting again as the site continues to grow!”
